PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT
Throlson Labs is introducing readers to BotPickr, a free directory of AI bots, agent setups and prompt templates operated by Web Guy Nick LLC. The project brings a practical question to AI discovery: what work do you actually need help with?
Watch the BotPickr video below for an introduction, then explore the directory for current listings and templates.

BotPickr at a glance
A starting point for choosing what to try
A new tool announcement can be interesting without being useful to your business. The useful part comes when you can connect an option to a task you already have. BotPickr organizes discovery around jobs, with listings covering AI bots, agent setups and prompt templates.
For readers who want help narrowing the choices, the site offers a five-question quiz that suggests up to three matches. A shortlist is a starting point for evaluation, not a promise that a particular tool will deliver a particular result.
What is available in the directory
BotPickr’s official press information lists 161 entries across 11 jobs and 30 free templates as of October 2026. Readers can browse the directory or explore a template, then check the relevant provider’s details before committing time or money.
BotPickr is free to browse. Third-party tools may have their own pricing, account requirements and terms, so check those directly rather than assuming a directory listing includes free access.
How to approach your first search
Start with a small, specific task. Use the directory or quiz to identify a few options. Then compare what each one does, what setup it needs and whether it fits your workflow. A practical test on your own task will tell you more than a broad feature list.
This announcement introduces the project and its video. It is not a hands-on review of every listed product, and it does not claim that every option has been independently tested by Throlson Labs.
Ownership and sponsorship
BotPickr is operated by Web Guy Nick LLC. This is a project announcement, not independent coverage of an unrelated company. BotPickr describes its listings as handpicked and labels paid placements as Sponsored.
